Just your run of the mill guy that is a fan of things and occasionally draws stuff.
Really cannot wait! I really enjoyed season 1 despite it's flaws, and I need to see the conclusion of this show!

Yeah, even if that was true, I'd challenge him to just pour his hands on bleach and see how "fine" that actually isn't...

God, it came to a point I can't even name what I feel regarding way too many specimens of my gender. It's not, embarrassment, it's not resentment, but it's kinda both?

Yikes! I'm so sorry for that! 😬😬

Even if receiving those threats just show how painfully correct you were, no one should ever go through that...

The fandom unfortunately and ironically always had too big of misogynist and queerphobic voices running rampant, it's not new.

I think it might be too tiring now because unfortunately shitty takes like that are also becoming mainstream literally everywhere.

The only thing new added was the "Larry Croft" transphobia, which I find it incredibly hilarious and hypocritical when I specifically remember some of the very same idiots calling Lara manly now because she has sharper facial features saying that Lara's face was too soft in the LAU and Reboot eras.

In all honesty, it feels like it was already like that even back then, they just didn't use words like woke or DEI.

I mean, all the talk about mop hair, and flat chest, and plain clothes, and over emotional, and "gay Lara", it all existed back then.

Mostly because, in hindsight, I think Rise did need to be a "brighter" game between two dark ones, to give the trilogy some narrative momentum, and make the dark truths about Lara's workoholism feel even darker.

While I do think the initial plans were a bit too dark, I did hope Rhianna Pratchett was able to keep a similar angle to the story. Like, instead of the whole alcoholism thing, she actually became more of an workoholic instead. Something that didn't seem as bad until you realise the truth behind it

I, hmmm, "like" to think the comments come from people that do have so overly controlling families that even "let's have dinner together" feels like manipulation... 😅

I mean, I don't like, but it feels like the only reasonable explanation... 😅
