You know I never did properly look at Condensed. I probably should.
Otherwise, my favourite version is definitely Accelerated. And particularly the iteration presented in Dresden Files.

I too struggle with PBtA games. I have played a lot of them and had some great experiences (some of my best in recent years in fact), but often can't shake the feeling that I'm not getting it or that I'm doing it wrong. Less so now probably

Fate Accelerated. But that feels too easy as there are only 4 rules.
Probably Exalted 2nd Ed. It's been a while but I reckon it's all locked in my brainpan still.

Well it's been a while but
Strength: being a fan of the players and enjoying their success + improvisation
Weakness: portraying menacing antagonists and short form games (one shots) - just never seemed to get the structure and pace right

I'm reading Steven Ericksons Malazan series finally. It's the omnibus and I fear that it might never end. It's been so long I'm not sure I have ever read anything else

Recently broke an 8 month dry spell with a few great games with some of my favourite people at Furnace (premier gaming con in Sheffield). Fate Accelerated (also my favourite game system) in a Weird World War setting and a great game of LoTR themed Hollowpoint (Hobbitpoint).
