Very strong winds came through Berea this morning and took out this huge branch. On its way down, it also broke in half a power pole and line, causing a 2 hour outage. Electric company is here now and they’re replacing the pole. Hopefully, we’ll have power back soon!

We’re back home and hitting one of our favorite places to eat. Sahara Mediterranean is the best 😋

We finally arrived home after being away for 5 months. We really enjoyed our travels but will never be away that long again. Home sweet home 🏡

Looking at few cold nights here in Galveston. No walking on the beach today. 40 mph winds. Day temps low 40s w/32 tonight, windchills 10-15. Using the furnace for the next few nights.
Dan bought some pork and chicken tamales 🫔 Had a few for lunch and absolutely 😋

A blustery, cold day in Galveston, especially after seeing such warm weather. That’s okay as we were able to hibernate in the camper most of the day. We did get out right before sunset for a little while. We bundled up and enjoyed a nice walk on the beach.

I’m so glad I’m finally off of Facebook. I’ve heard they’re doing some seriously weird stuff. It’s like a giant weight lifted off my shoulders not supporting that parasite.

So, we finally saw Balboa Park. it is renowned for its combination of nature and architecture. It is definitely worth walking through.
