I've been on it for a few months now. I notice two things; I am losing weight very slowly (around 0.25kg/week, average), but I don't care because suddenly eating well isn't a constant fight against cravings.

So yes I'd love better food regulation but we can do more than one thing.

Technically yes, realistically I doubt anyone has the time to dig much into side-projects

Exactly this - Cloud products are often polished versions of tools developed internally.

It's not by any means 1:1, but there are fairly clear parallels.

My personal opinion - a lot of internal tools were developed before or at the same time as industry standard tooling, and so there's limited value then replacing them with tools that would need to be licensed.

I'll bite - what's your suggested interview plan, rubrics, and hire/no-hire conditions (as in, what does good look like, what does a failure look like)?
April 15, 2025 at 1:58 PM
I've done it, a very long time ago. Took a week off my existing job, although I was in a position where there was no exclusivity clause in my contract.

I am more concerned what they're going to do with it.

I'd assumed they put it on HDD. S3 at least is designed for retention.

Also if therapy isn't helping, try a different therapist

The markets are betting they reverse the decision.
April 3, 2025 at 2:06 PM
Have you tried turning it off and on again?
March 31, 2025 at 2:05 PM
Honestly it's not the price, it's that I think replacing public space with private space, on an already busy deck, was in poor taste.
March 25, 2025 at 1:05 PM
I feel like that's more an explanation of how they ended up in therapy
