it’s not about people liking me or not. it’s that these subtweets inevitably send one comment my way that wishes i died of cancer. that comment specially retraumatizes me and sends me spiraling. it’s effective. it horrifies me that other people are happy to continue to foment that possibility.
You have a big heart Gene and I can tell it gets you down to see other people have such a poor opinion of you, and I feel like it would be useless for me to tell you to shake that off. I know it's not that easy. So just know there are lots of us who get you. Hope you feel better soon.
