If one episode of Borderlands 4 wasn't enough, here's another youtu.be/Opw95iGvu4E?...

Welp I watched Roofman twice and it's still underrated

All the real people in the documentary segment say the real Jeffrey Manchester was nice. I like that reversal of what if the robber was a nice guy and the robbee was a dick

At first I didn't care for the Otis and Mitch story but I like how it adds emphasis to Otis calling Jeff a bully during the last robbery.

The relationship between Jeff and Steve is good because he basically gave Jeff the idea to do the robberies. Then gave him a reason to do the last robbery but he is also a good friend and doesn't want any of Jeffrey's heat

Also, also in that middle section he becomes a great step-dad but unfortunately he stops thinking about his own children
December 27, 2025 at 12:17 AM
Also in the middle section you really start to root for Jeffrey while he gets sloppy and in love
December 27, 2025 at 12:08 AM
I will assert that this is a heist film and a prison break film but in the middle it becomes a rom-com and all of that works

The Tickle me Elmos in the store throw my estimation off but I don't think it was their hay day.

I've been trying to nail down the time period without looking up when it all happened. I've got it down to the early 2000s maybe 2005ish but I'll keep sleuthing
December 26, 2025 at 11:54 PM
IDK if the real Jeffrey Manchester was this likable but Channing's is very
December 26, 2025 at 11:47 PM
They really put Uzo Adub and Ben Mendelssohn in here like they didn't already have Peter Dinklage, Kirsten Dunst and Channing Tatum
December 26, 2025 at 11:44 PM
Also, a lot of 2025 movies are loud, fast, hard, difficult in ways. This movie is soft, slow , goes down easy.
December 26, 2025 at 11:16 PM
I think this is the most underrated film of 2025 but there are a bunch of good films this year that made no noise

I did this review right after I saw it

Okay they found a way to end it with revenge on the figurehead and an indictment of the system.
December 22, 2025 at 1:34 AM
I also hope that The Running Man solves the problem I had with The Long Walk that they simplify the MC indicting the system to him getting revenge on one guy that is the figurehead
December 22, 2025 at 1:14 AM
The Long Walk went the whole runtime without feeling cheesy but The Running Man had been cheesy the whole runtime. It works though
