I just watched Red River for the first time yesterday and had the same thought. The stampede section in particular is thrilling, but you can’t imagine any of it was safe for anyone involved

The Music Box in Chicago, after a notorious Blue Velvet screening, have started doing this disclaimer. They did it recently for an old Hollywood melodrama by talking about how melodrama is just different, please don't laugh at wrong times. It hasn't fixed it but helped a lot.

I never really understand the argument some people make online that steam deck isn’t for the average consumer. You can mostly use it as a normal device and don’t have to make it more complicated if you don’t want to!

At the Chicago International Film Fest I was so surprised by how much of the older crowd came out of the screening loving it! It's kinda unfathomable to me that it's in the conversation lol
