A4: I think AI will make game design more accessible for many non-programmers. Imagine if master storytellers could create video games more easily. #LevelUpEDU

A3: Not really a tool or resource but I always try to bring guest speakers in to talk about careers in what I am teaching. I have the fantastic honor of hosting the last living creator of Yoda who will be speaking to my class this year..after we finish our puppetry/animatronics module. #LevelUpEDU

The students create them from scratch depending on the topic, but my favorite so far was a Chinese class coming in to craft a board game based on a book they were reading. It focused on the adventures of the creator of Majong. #LevelUpEDU

I enjoy Unity but they constantly update/retire the VR components….all for the better…but it gets frustrating!

A2: Our esports team really began doing a deep dive in broadcasting/streaming which leads into graphic design and project management. #LevelUpEDU

A1: Outside of my Makerspace I teach an Intro to VR course, utilizing Unity (still wanting to jump ship to Unreal)…we focus mainly on the programming and modules in Unity/interface design to give students exp. in programming…but I also frequently incorporate physical board game creation. #LevelUpEDU

You're going to love hearing about this semesters class! Fantasy Realms....I'm sure I have talked about it in some of our same channels.

A4: I would like to build on a project we started 5 years ago. A children's show but utilizing animatronics, puppets and crazy set design. My class is a semester long so it's a pretty high hanging fruit....but given more time I think the students could make an epic production. #YouthMADE

A3: Spending more time playing with my kids. I have two young ones and I'm just realizing how fast it goes. Most days I just want to sit and watch a show or play some videogames and 'turn off'. But they are so excited to play when I get home.I t needs to be more of a priority for me #YouthMADE

It was a tough lesson! Everytime the head of school came in I could tell he was questioning the chaos....but I repeated my mantra to him: a clean makerspace is a makerspace that is not being used. That being said....if you can't find a hammer, you have other issues.

Innovation definitely doesn't take place in a vacuum! I agree whole-heartedly with you on the importance and benefit of learning communities. #YouthMADE

A1: Realizing that a semi-clean Makerspace makes for an organized one. I spent part of my vacation reorganizing. It was a hard transition....I always enjoyed the chaos that is my room....so many projects in different stages of completion just showed how used the space was. #YouthMADE
