That goal is usually depicted as the creation of a new paradigm, but might itself be a flavour of nihilism

You’d think it’d be difficult to sell yourself as “anti-establishment” if you have your name written on several skyscrapers, but I guess that’s balanced out by buddying up with a Kennedy, a smorgasbord of C-suiters and TV personalities, and the wealthiest man in the world
