Participants in clinical trials are incredible. Subjected to extra tests, blood draws, travel, paperwork. Mainly to benefit others! This is how their selflessness is repaid? Researchers put in way more work than they are paid for. Data collected is incomplete so potentially useless. Infuriating

It is impossible to do the cancer research I do without water, electricity, lab space, equipment, janitorial, maintenance, accounting staff, etc . That is what overhead is for. You would think any one who has run a business would know this.
