On an unimportant decision, when I concede, I will be sure to point it out. I disagree but the result of any decision doesn’t matter to me or the result will affect you more; I will take step back, decenter myself, and follow your lead.

Dismissing my opinion on a important decision (or even something not so important) because you’re too overwhelmed by the act of disagreeing and having a dialogue…

Not validating someone’s (queer) gender/sexuality is not “agreeing to disagree”; it is refusing to validate their identity, their essence, and/or their soul. It is harmful and hurtful (and subtle violence).
