It appears that Columbia University considered, but ultimately rejected, buying $400mm of land from Trump to expand its campus 25 years ago. This may help explain his hostility toward the university now. This is not about “antisemitism”: this is about revenge, mafia style.

How do we motivate the corporate sector to pay taxes like “the persons” they are in Citizens United? If I pay a 30% marginal tax rate, let’s have all the corporations, partnerships and LLCs also pay 30%. Let us agree a fair, progressive tax structure for “all persons” and watch the world improve!
