I have way too many cats and books and also not enough cats and books.
Muriel Bowser and Pamela Smith are traitors to DC, as is anyone who would in any way legitimize the National Guard’s unnecessary and illegal presence in our city.

I’m truly glad to hear it does that for you. Me, I’ve subscribed to Tidal, installed the apps, and transferred my playlists, not once, but twice. And twice cancelled because as a music app, Tidal does almost nothing well except be more moral than Spotify, and that’s just not enough.

Tidal is a great option… if you never, ever want to shuffle a playlist.

I’m down in DC’s Wharf district right now on its quietest week of the night. Seen at least 8 uniformed DEA officers wasting their time wandering along the boardwalk. Guess there are no drug dealers anywhere in the US for them to pursue. Great use of resources.

It’s completely consistent with everything about the wretched excuse for organized resistance we have in this country that this damn post about something happening on March 7 appears on March 7, and it’s the first damned time I’ve seen anything about it.

Sorry to be a downer but selling your Tesla doesn’t take money away from Elon Musk and it doesn’t reduce the number of stupid Teslas on the road. You want to send a message? Reduce the damn thing to scrap and use the pieces to build something useful.

Appalling - and terrifying if they succeed. Thanks for highlighting this Steve. But also… I suspect you intended “litigating,” not “mitigating.”

So the lesson is that if you can’t do something 100%, you shouldn’t try at all, right? Thanks, but I’ll keep at my half measures (which to date include canceling the Washington Post and my Amazon Prime membership).

I wish I could get my in progress books under control to the point that it would be ONLY four. Thank goodness for the Reading List app on my iPhone or I would completely lose track.
