Regardless of what happened with Sanders, Biden was unfit to run. Not just because of his appalling history--which was swept under the rug by most of the corporate press during that contest--but because he was cognitively impaired.

Yep, and then Clintonite-right "Democrats" and their corporate press enablers attacked Sanders for not dropping out of the race, thus forcing states to hold unsafe primaries during covid--primaries that were going to happen regardless of what Sanders did and that the DNC was forcing to happen.

At the very least, the many who attacked Casto for alluding to Biden's cognitive impairment should apologize (if not commit public seppuku). The disgrace for that lies mostly with the corporate press, which also swept Biden's entire history under the rug.

All true. Biden never should have been elected and never should have been the 2020 nominee. He would have been the wrong person for that job and that time even before his brain was boiled (and it was already boiled in 2019).

No matter who Biden chose, it was going to be the same story, because that's just who Biden is. He never should have been elected and never should have been the Dem nominee.

Perhaps you'll run on that slogan in the next election and we'll see how it goes for you.

And Garland wasn't to blame for it; that was Biden's call. He was determined to do absolutely nothing about Trump's criminality and never would have done anything if the 6 Jan. Commission hadn't publicly shamed him into it (too later to matter).

Biden should have immediately prosecuted Trump--thrown the book at him--but he was determined never to go after him. As for Biden himself doing better in office, there was never any chance of that. He is what he is, and it just wasn't what America needed or wanted.

More than one thing can be true at a time. The Trump regime blaming Biden for everything is ridiculous AND the Biden administration could’ve done more to prevent us from being in this situation right now.

It's not a great movie by any measure but it is a really beautiful one.

You're aiming at the wrong target at the end there.

After having made 2 REALLY great movies and written a 3rd, this was the one that proved that Quentin Tarantino could also be a profoundly fallible filmmaker.

"Are you ok?!"

Yeah, I know NIS. I didn't know he--or anyone else--had done this though.

@moviessilently.bsky.social may appreciate this one...

If that's Roy, he must have had some work done since I saw him last.

This doesn't often happen after all these years but I'm either entirely unfamiliar with this or I'm presently having, a, um, senior moment.

Yeah! Great little monster movie. Not so great a poster for it though.

With the wider public, Biden's approval went more negative than positive in only a few months, then went permanently majority-negative from 8 months in.

This is NOT because Biden was secretly running some great presidency.
