First restoration job complete! I found this clear GBC in non-working condition. Here's what's new:
-OLED display (25% larger)
-Miku color theme shell/buttons (glows in the dark!)
-New capacitors
-New power regulator
-New audio amp
-New power switch
-New speaker
-New stickers

Here's a closeup of Crystal. I used the custom board designed by Mhouranix1125 (github.com/Mhouranix112...) which looks much cleaner when installed. It also features the Suicune emblem on the back, similar to the Japanese version! Some advanced soldering skills are needed, but do-able with practice.

I figured Bluesky might like retro game mods, so here's my immortal mods for the first and second generation Pokemon games. 😃
The earlier games used a battery-backed SRAM to hold save data, which would be lost if the battery died! My mod removes the SRAM for FRAM, so the battery isn't needed!
