Maybe, but tales of the mob using construction companies and gambling to launder money are not exactly few and far between, nor are their few examples of it.

I must say, one of the worst moments in history was when someone decided that “a random dude said a thing on social media and got clapped back” was NEWS. It tickles the dopamine and fuck that guy or whatever but we really don’t need to be paying attention to this shit.

And if it WAS staged, that means they killed a random dude to make it more believable, injured two others, and set up the sniper to take the fall and killed him too. Terribly, irrationally evil.

My sister is trans and you are a sad, pathetic little person who is more interested in checking off progressive boxes and name calling and trolling through a persons history than having a conversation. OH NO HE HAS A QUESTION ABOUT SOME TRANS WOMEN IN SPORTS must be a Nazi! Sad little shit.

Where did I say Nintendo should make nothing else but Mario and Zelda? Could you point it out to me?
November 14, 2025 at 7:38 PM
Perhaps you had difficulty reading. You should try it again. There is no “and…”, my statement was complete and in response to another. Metroid gets a lot of hype amongst gamers but has never sold very well. It is a third tier Nintendo franchise that is mostly popular in the west.

It’s a technicality that doesn’t need defending. “He’s not technically a pedo, he just likes 13-year-old girls who have menstruated and have boobs”. Read the fucking room.

Eight is everything seven is but better, and world is just a regression. I know it’s hard to compare a new game with another that has had years of DLC and stuff, but it feels hollow. The new sonic racing game is legitimately better.

Nah, these people believe they’re gonna be persecuted for being patriots. Nothing to do with admitting wrongdoing. It’s pathetic.
November 14, 2025 at 2:34 PM
You and everyone else. People forget that Mario Odyssey alone sold more than every Metroid game ever released combined (29m vs 21m units). It is a game series that has had more cultural impact amongst gamers than the sales figures would warrant.

10 tech companies propping up most of the economic “growth” in the country is not a good economy, it’s good for Nvidia investors.
November 14, 2025 at 12:34 PM
Anyone ever tell you that you look just like Paul Shaffer?
November 14, 2025 at 1:38 AM
These types are always immature, big feeling, selfish fucks who haven’t learned a thing since high school. Always.

Well, the Liberals earning 3 federal seats and the Cons losing 2 in the last election was in part due to the rejection of PP and his party’s recent whining and MAGA-like rhetoric. People see what’s going on down there and most don’t seem to like it. We do not want to live like that.

He’s had a long and distinguished career at Harvard and has had tenure since 1996. It’s not a mystery.

Look, they guy has obviously been trying to cash out a bit with the asteroid/aliens stuff and a couple of books and it’s annoying but he’s doesn’t have a history of “crankery” outside of that.

In all of my life, I’ve never seen a press secretary for any president straight up lie as much as she does. “No comment”, a bit of spin, maybe brush it off, but never just straight up fucking endless lies. She has zero concern for her relationship with the press or the public or having credibility.

I mean, there’s definitely still room for a pee tape.
November 13, 2025 at 11:12 PM
Yes, you already posted that.

Hydroelectricity requires the rivers and dams and reservoirs to generate it, and there are not many places left to put them without causing local environmental destruction. Quebec is practically underwater as far as hydroelectric generation goes, that’s why they make a lot of aluminum there cheaply.

Our local nuclear power plant uses ocean water to cool and has for decades. The ocean is really fucking big, you’d have to put thousands of these things on the ocean to make any appreciable difference. But yes, it’s technically something to consider.

Yeah, but they’re all working on throwing us all out of a livelihood, isn’t it worth it?

This thing is gonna sell a few million units and then kind of peter out as the cost of a comparable PC continues to drop, like all other valve hardware. Good on them, though, it looks like a neat little machine, depending on the price.

I saw a really old episode of the original (Kids of ) Degrassi recently and it’s funny to see those neighbourhoods and how much they’ve changed. Would be nice to bring some of that back.

What was the best selling game of 2023, right in the middle of the controversy? How many shitty things are companies going to do to the consumer that gamers ignore because they want to buy the game anyway? Almost all gamers will buy the games they want regardless of anything else, end of story.
November 13, 2025 at 4:45 PM
Most people don’t give a shit. “Gamers”, least of all. Expecting most gamers to prioritize ANYTHING over getting to play or watch their new shiny thing is… laughable. The evidence is everything that’s happened in the last 30 years.
