Mel has her fists raised, bearing the signs of a fight with a cut over her left eye, a bloody nose and a cheek bruise. Still she stands determined against monstrous shadows. Connecting the two is a red string, though it is only glowing on Mel's side An image of Dto'halkra and Mel in their teenage years. Mel is in the middle of arguing with her twin brother, Martín Dto' stands at attention with a spear, but his eyes are not ahead, they are looking to his right, at his father and the heavy weight of the hand on his shoulder. There are heavy bags beneath his eyes and bruises hidden just out of view by his armor Image of Dto'halkra and Mel in their early adulthood. Dto' is walking angrily and determinedly away from the reaching hand of his now former partner. While it pains him, he can only decide for himself and he has chosen another path. Mel lies on her living room couch, facing away as sunlight slips through the curtains. On her shoulder is a tattoo of 3 birds and on the floor, beside dirty plates and a bottle of sleeping pills, is a letter and an urn in a box An image of Dto'halkra and Mel, their first proper face to face while taking a small break amidst the mission they find themselves on together. Mel shows clear signs of injuries, her upper left arm bandaged, wounds on her face, but her grey eyes are bright and shining as she looks at Dto'. Dto' in turn looks right back, dazzled. Their soulmate string glows golden.
