the president is not an elected sovereign. he does not speak for the people or embody their will, he merely represents them. if he wants to change the constitution, let him make his case.

Not just billionaires. People don’t push back on regular CEOs. They surround themselves with yes men (& maybe a woman or two) and create a culture that casts long shadows across the org. People who push back, softly or not, are quickly labeled “difficult” or worse, if that guy’s vision is jostled.
