Met with a friend/colleague on Wednesday. Meeting was scheduled last week, but it was beneficial to talk about trying to reinvigorate the humanities in Gen Ed. We have to keep trying.

I’m fighting the AI cheerleaders at my university. I find the faculty that side with me are in computer science. They think caution is critical because they understand the problem.

I became a historian because of my love for historical fiction as a kid. Too much history is presented in a dull way on paper and in the classroom.
