I'm in my late 30's and I think that my generation was taught to ignore grief and be cynical about the world. When someone opens up and is vulnerable for even a moment, instead of allowing that person to have those emotions, we try to shut it down or ignore it. That's how I see it anyway.

No one should be yelling at anyone, but to pretend men are not more dangerous than women is beyond disingenuous. Men are far more likely to resort to violence than women. I've been a victim of both physical and emotional abuse, while BOTH are bad, physical is WAY worse than emotional.
