I am SO happy to hear that Jared Golden (D-Maine) isn’t running for re-election. We don’t need so-called “independent” Dems who seem to actively work as enablers to the GOP fascists. Maybe, just maybe, a Democratic candidate who’s an economic populist will win the Democratic candidacy in Maine.

I am SO happy to hear that Jared Golden (D-Maine) isn’t running for re-election. We don’t need so-called “independent” Dems who seem to actively work as enablers to the GOP fascists. Maybe, just maybe, a Democratic candidate who’s an economic populist will win the Democratic candidacy in Maine.

According to direct quotes, Hitler viewed the Munich Agreement as "a worthless piece of paper". The U.S. negotiating directly with Russia, essentially leaving Ukraine out of the negotiations, directly mirrors the British/French/European "appeasement" negotiations with Hitler over the Sudetenland.

I deepest hope is that NATO / European countries can pull together with a unified plan to support Ukraine, so that they will not be left to be torn apart by the Russians on one side & the Trump administration on the other. Continued European support right now gives Ukraine leverage.

Zelensky wasn't given a chance to present Ukraine's position...Trump/Vance thought they would dictate to him. He stood his ground. He's seen far worse from the attrocities of the Russians than the two school yard bullies he met with.

Having just watched how Vance & Trump tried to browbeat Zelensky, I am beyond angry at the arrogance and rudeness that our so-called leaders displayed to a once-ally. I am totally on Zelensky's side on this.
