So............ I have to teach about the U.S. Constitution today to an introductory level class.

How on earth am I supposed to pretend everything is just working normally?

Answer: I'm not going to pretend. I'm telling it like it is.

One of the reasons this time is scarier is that we are post-Covid.

We saw, first hand, that our neighbors could not be bothered. We saw that abject selfishness would rule.

So I have no hope that people who wouldn’t wear a mask will stand up to a government that’s oppressing their neighbor.
