Back in, what, 89 or 90, I took my bff to her first concert—it was Weird Al—we last saw him together at Ravinia maybe six years ago, and we’ll see him again next year, the weekend after our birthday! (We have the same birthday.) Can’t wait, got lucky w seats for once, too.

I would have bet money on Beagle & Bluetick Coon Hound. And would have lost that bet. Never would have guessed German Shepherd. We just don’t see it!

Watched REDS again last night, and man, what a film, what a story, what a cast. In its day it was overshadowed by Chariots of Fire and I think other historical epics like Lawrence of Arabia get more attention but REDS is right up there, I tell you what. Fantastic.
