Sadly it is time to for Europe to have a plan B. Americans broadly are friends of Europe, but the current government isn’t. So Europe must be diplomatic, believe little, expect nothing and plan for self sufficiency across many pathways….

So what we need is a radical reset of how we look at an alliance. The key thing is to mend the deterrent after the US smashed it. Putin or whoever is next needs to know that the West is united and will help, support and protect each other. #europe

Only a fool chooses war, but Europe needs to align, invest and prepare for the possibility that one day it may have to again fight alone. The saddest of thoughts when looking backwards.
