Were you one of those folks that voted for Nader and handed the White House to Bush/Cheney? Or did you vote for Bernie to “send a message?”

Also I’m thinking Treasuries don’t do that well in a systemic downturn, so I doubt she came out that flush.

It’s unlikely we can effect positive change here in the US until MAGA supporters start to feel some pain. They’re fucking delusional. Unfortunately we will all feel pain until we can get these asses out of power.
Hopefully something of the American ideal will remain.

I like the general sentiment, but it is well to keep in mind the “Bonus Army,” “Prague Spring,” the several “Bloody Sundays,” and the many other violently quashed protests of the recent past. Progress is rarely easily or bloodlessly won.
