It’s both for sure. More so with writing I’d say. I can get into some more flowery prose with reading but it takes about 30-50 pages to wrap my head around it so I’m much more hesitant to pick up those kind of books

I have aphantasia, so I find flowery descriptions very difficult to follow. Succinct and simple for me.
