The argument for biofuels has often been made in the context of a transportation fuel. Battery efficiency and storage is pretty close for electrified road vehicles that biofuels don’t seem needed there. How close are we for aviation? Are electrified aircraft close enough?

Any chance I can get on the list? I study and help to implement solutions that are good for people and wildlife.

I often mark 75-100 reports at a time. I find that breaking this into batches (eg 15 at one sitting) with micro-rewards makes it more manageable. I used to try to get through more but I found it too mind numbing. For general practice—ask hard questions and mark leniently, not the other way round.

Great question. It depends on the wildlife. As one example, many birds and lots of insects see down into ultraviolet wavelengths of light which means they see colors that are invisible to us.

Hi, everyone. I work in areas of program and technology development to reduce human-wildlife conflict. All projects I’m involved in incorporate aspects of environmental justice. I try to see the world from the wildlife point of view. Would love to connect.
