So, I just found @raycast.com last week and had an idea for an extension.

I have a custom GPT I made to help me turn CSV files from our Amazon sales data into a better format with totals for ASINs and trimming titles.

So far so good!

Not quite webdev, but it’s .tsx so…?

Two column menus are supported in Shortcut Menus! This was a tricky one.

Here's a short video of it in action!

New project I'm working on to take a break from other side projects.

A menu builder web app for iOS Shortcuts!

It should help make the process of creating VCARD menus a lot easier.

Using Lucide icons, but will add more in the future.

Building it with Astro and Tailwind.

What's with VS Code not liking @plugin?

Using the Tailwind Typography plugin and saw this.

Couldn't really find anything specific on this with a quick Google search... 🤔

Here is what Copilot is telling me when I ask if it's a good idea to refactor this file into smaller components.

Today I refactored the main file into several components since it was over 300 lines, added tabs to switch between different calculation conditions, and added animations.

Not too bad for a noob! J/k… heavily relying Co-Pilot. 🤔🤣

Mobile version of my mini volume calculator web app I made. I tweaked the UI a bit to work better on touch devices.

I used picocss for this project and I really like it.

Nifty tip for anyone that wants to use custom icons on iOS without the annoying Shortcuts banner.

• Create a Shortcut with a blank text action.

• In the Shortcut you have to open an app, place a Run Shortcut action before the Open App action that runs the empty text action Shortcut.

I figured since I already had most of the work done with using the NWS API for my mountain weather Shortcut I might as well make a local weather Shortcut.

I’m kind of obsessed with working with APIs in Shortcuts.

Learning a lot though!

I have a Bluesky milestone too! A bit late to the party, but still!

Testing out postcapture.com by @builditn0w.bsky.social!

Pretty awesome little tool with a ton of options!

Seriously, if you're not already go follow Lars to get notified when it launches.

Little #Shortcut using the NWS API to see the weather for the Siskiyou pass. It will make it a bit easier to track how my drive will be for the holidays.

Almost done with my python script to clean up our campaigns!

It will take all files in the directory, detect the right columns it needs to extract the data from based on ROAS, then output separate files by keyword match type in another directory.

Pandas is a pretty powerful tool!

I literally just ended a Google Meet call and feel seen and called out right now.

I'm stoked to share ShortSky - a mini BlueSky client built in Shortcuts. It was super fun to make over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

I don't have a lot of experience working with APIs so I learned a lot.

Check it out! 👇

Gooood morning Bluesky! 🦋

I finally got my log in issue resolved with RoutineHub so now I can upload my mini Bluesky client built in Shortcuts.

To celebrate, here’s a meme!

Just checked out DYSMANTLE and it’s amazing. I’ve been wanting a new game to play on my iPhone for road trips/ casual playing here and there.

It’s crazy how good it is on mobile with a Backbone!

Apparently we’re in the age of Bluetooth enabled coffee mugs… Got it as a “gift” for attending a sales pitch meeting. I don’t know if I’d ever buy one myself… 🤔

Kinda cool that it integrates into Apple Health though!

ShortSky is pretty much good for a MVP, I may end up adding some things here and there. Now I just have to wait until my login issue if fixed on RoutineHub before I release it. I’ll also add two other Shortcuts for posting text and image posts.

Hey! I’m still a pretty noob-ish dev, but love the idea of #buildinginpublic. More of a designer myself, but I have a few fun projects.

I making a mini Bluesky app in Shortcuts for iOS to practice with their API, and I have a few other projects I want to build soon.
