Like maybe take a second to ENTERTAIN the idea that your client might know themselves a little more than you do. Maybe a moment or two of allowing yourself to LISTEN and be PRESENT and CURIOUS and not just cling to the ego-fluffing idea that you're the Expert in All Things.

Definitely do this! I have seen people absolutely light up when you pay them a random compliment, asking to take their photo after that would ( I think ) just be extra lovely.
