As a Life Scout (never did make it to Eagle), I was skeptical when the Boy Scouts became Scouts because it got such backlash from Girl Scouts.
I never considered that Scouting actually could be a space for gender non-conforming or trans kids to just be themselves.
God forbid trans kids be happy.
