Environmental attorney who misses the mountains.
One of my favorite bits of family history is that my great grandfather was a chef at the Waldorf Astoria. We still have his knives.

And yes to both.

Of course it is. That's where they put the razor blades.

Congrats on the promotion!

The use of past tense there kinda hurts.

Sounds fun. What are the other two games you consider masterpieces?
October 5, 2025 at 2:10 PM
Indeed. The NFL is famously the most nonviolent of all professional sports leagues.

I think you and I grew up in the same house. Good times.

I'm Bluesky famous! Maybe C-list but I'll take it. Comes with all the privileges of regular famous, right?

Respectfully, the answer seems obvious: they don't care. And that's the charitable take. The less charitable being it's a feature not a bug.

Eddins isn't messing around:

"If the Supreme Court decides a case based on...trickery... then that case may have little value to a state that prefers a more principled way."

"One more thing. This court strives for institutional competence. Cf. Trump v. United States, 603 U.S. 593 (2024)."

Adult with VERY late-diagnosed ADHD here, and no reason to disagree with the pediatrician. But I'd offer that it might be useful for him to have experience with managing meds for his particular issues at some point before he's out of the house.

Damn shame you can't quote post this as blank.

Are those our only two options?

Ah yes. Simpsons radioactive green.
September 6, 2025 at 12:25 AM
Whoops. Missed a letter. Article II. Which I guess only goes to prove the point...
September 2, 2025 at 2:47 AM
Just cite Article I and be done with it.

I mean sure. Three other facts of litigation: (1) don't represent things to the court if you don't have the facts to do so (Ensign lives here); (2) meet the court's deadline; and (3) if you don't have the facts, meet the court's deadline and tell them as much.

Best judge ever. You get the sense she's been itching for one of these to land with her.

Whatever Travis is worth it'll be more than I'll ever sniff so I say this more with envy than judgement - but there's only one empire there.

Maybe go with the carbon emissions pitch.

Counterpoint: he no longer has the luxury of representing nonsense to the court based on his "understanding." Because that understanding is worth zilch. Did it to himself. Either be an officer of the court or step down.

And though I had not heard her name prior to today, new favorite federal judge. She's been up since 2 am and demanding the same attention to this case that she's giving. Baller.
