Just a whole load of web services showing amber alerts. Your own connection might be unexpectedly slow with various things. It isn't YOU, it's at their end.

HURRAH!
Screenshot which gives the text: "Updated 5 minutes ago" - I took it at 3 am 24th Oct 2025. The it gives the result of the Caephilly by-election, which is that Plaid Cymru took 47% of the vote and won. Reform came second with 36%, though. There are some other bits on it, but it's the Plaid win I'm highlighting.

A reply to a survey I just made
"Please tell us why you were not highly satisfied with you experience at [CENSORED]. Please provide as much detail as possible." I added an underline and asterisk to 'not highly', with WTF by it. I filled in the box with: 'I obtained the goods I required without having to travel miles. If they'd provided me sexual favours with skill, alacrity and imagination thenmaybe they'd get the top mark. To assume that one should get the top mark simply by doing what is required is absurd.' The fucking sauce of them! My view: the starting point is 6/10. That is a fine and unremarkable experience, people doing their jobs appropriately. "Why didn't we get 10/10, boohoo?" Because you just don't. You don't pay your staff enough to do anything than what they are required to do. Your prices are around average, your range of what I want is barely covered, but mostly there and usually in stock... No one was rude to me, I barely spoke as it wasn't needed, and that was that. Cheeky bastards.
