I don’t think “this game does use AI, but it’s okay the devs responsible weren’t forced to use it” is gonna fly by 90% of people actually, and is just gonna lead down the same path

I’m still convinced the only reason NFT’s were so uniformly hated among gamers was because none of the well liked AAA companies jumped on it.

Had Nintendo announced amiibo NFT’s you’d have seen a bunch of gamers worm around looking for a way to downplay/excuse it

for the record, I have my own beef and issues with south park, stemming from it’s disinformation it normalizes on certain topics, and toothless centrism on others, but I also think if we tell them “everything on our side is off limits to mock” well, then what’s the point of the show existing?

All I can really think of is “do south park, but only mock conservatives, republicans, Trump, and religious people, if you ever want to tackle irl topics“ which, Idk, seems one sided and kinda defeats the purpose? Can a show like South Park even exist, and not piss off leftists and liberals?
