Definitely, but a not too sweet one. Would even say Old Kriek, actually. The acidity will contrast nicely with the sweetness of the cherry pie. I'm sure Boon, Lidemans, or, even better, 3 Fonteinen, exports theirs to the US.

Great article! Good to have some accessible resources in French on this. Any knowledge of organisations active on tech and democracy in Brussels/EU policy (on this specific issue and/or beyond)?

Or #Ellul, again, I suspect. Like when he considered that the values held by the technicians to develop their techniques and which are embedded in them have become our moral values (I think it's in "The Technological System"). The more I want him to be wrong, the more he seems to have been right...

I remember Ellul attributing, without ref, the quote "everything that can be done must be done",or something similar, to Gabor. Any idea where this comes from?
