Yesterday Tango had a no good, very bad day. He got stung by a Yellowjacket and got scratch under his eye from a branch. Then the fireworks went off for our state holiday all night. Early this morning the fire alarm chirped cuz it needed batteries. Whew! Today is much better already.

For my mom‘s memorial I had forget-me-not seed packets for people to take. I planted some, but only a small amount sprouted. The taller they got the more they didn’t look like traditional forget-me-nots to me. I looked them up and found out that this variety is actually Chinese Forget-Me-Not 🧐

Dog Drama: squirrels suck and deserve to be chased. When a baby squirrel falls in the backyard however, we would rather not touch it. Gross. Mom called us back and we were escorted inside. BB squirrel hung out in a tree until it felt safe, but we kept watch just in case it tried funny business.

Walks on dry land are fine for Tango, but Brizzy would rather be playing fetch in the lake.

With these subpar eagle photos, I will be disappointing Wildlife photographers everywhere. We spotted the eagle while we were on a hike with our dogs. Mr. Eagle let us know that we were interfering with his fishing and didn’t hold still long.

Every morning at Marsh Lake the birds would wake me up to see the sunrise. I’m barely catching up on my sleep, but it was worth it.
