I really appreciate Naomi's transparent opinions on biology, a subject it seems she has never studied. They make it so much easier for me to block her.

Yeah. It engages the reader by zoom into the emotional stare of the MC. He's actually quite approachable at conferences.

Whenever I hear aging comedians lash out at changing sensibilities, I wonder the same two things:
1) do they still lament Punch no longer beating the living crap out of Judy? and 2) don't they get that their edgy choices are what changes those sensibilities?
I expect them to be more self aware
