first time wearing in-ear buds with (extremely good) active noise cancellation and man, it's a weird sensation when you take them back out. outside noise suddenly pouring back into your head, like rushing to fill a vacuum. hard to describe.

oh, the irony. i start looking into buying a domain for the first time in a very long time and it seems to me google domains is pretty much the nicest experience around for this kind of stuff 🥲 wtf is google doing killing that off?

welp, i just bought _another_ pair of headphones/earbuds 🙈

this brings my collection up to at least five pairs that i'm actively using in rotation and about a dozen or so that are collecting dust somewhere in a box. this is completely normal.
