I truly wonder if anyone has data on how much apps like photomath and the like have caused the struggles we see at higher level math. It’s so obvious to teachers when students use it but it’s so hard to convince students why it doesn’t help and it sometimes just wrong

I teach in Oklahoma. This hits home in so many ways. You have no idea how demoralizing it is to be consistently attacked and vilified by your own government until it happens to you. It’s nearly destroyed public education in my state.
