Made some amazing sounding mics for super cheap using some em172 capsules I've had unused spare for years. Used some super cheap XLR adapters as the mic bodies and then finished them off with some 3d printed parts

It goes both ways, I have no respect for Korg, look what they have done to my poor boy

Ended up going for something slightly smaller than what I really wanted

Unreasonably excited by this little clip on mic arm for mid-side, xy and blumlein pairs on one stand

Trying out thick ceramic piezo elements (meant for ultrasonic misters) as contact mics. They sound really good, much less resonant and honky than standard metal ones but, less sensitive so need more preamp juice
