Democratic socialist elected to the Louisville Metro Coucil to put the needs of the many back on the agenda. This is a political account!
Contact committee members and tell them you want the Metro Council to pass our amendment that makes it clear that no one is above the law, including ICE

I was honest with you that I can’t do any of that by myself, that we were building a movement, and you and I would need to organize together once I was sworn in.

That’s exactly what I’m asking for right now.

When I ran for office, I made it clear: I’m just some guy. With the fascist Trump back in office our most vulnerable community members need us to help protect them more than ever.

Nationwide, ICE agents are hiding their faces and identities while abusing civil liberties. In Louisville, we have a tool we can use to tell them to take the masks off.

Look up your Metro Council Rep here apps.lojic.org/metrocouncil... & tell them to make it clear that the mask ban applies to ICE!

WHAS11 is reporting that the consent decree is in danger of dying in Trump's Department of Justice. Not a surprise. However, Louisville allowing these reforms to fade would be an unacceptable failure on the part of our city. Either we voluntarily pass them into law, or we are co-signing Trump!

Unbelievably shameful. Is this who we want to be as a city & state?

We aren't going to solve this crisis in Metro booking, in front of a judge, or with a skid steer and a garbage truck. We need housing and treatment, in that order, and to treat our neighbors with dignity www.lpm.org/news/2024-12...

Louisville needs big changes to reverse economic and racial inequality. Louisville needs leaders ready to fight for the working class against budgets that prioritize tax deals for wealthy real estate developers over public transportation and basic infrastructure.
