NoVA transplant. Big #Orioles fan. Jack of all trades, master of some. Puntificator. Part of the Al-gebra movement. You've been warned.
Do you think a 5- year deal would get this done, do you think it's wise, and do you think the Orioles have/ will offer this? I thought I read somewhere that they offered 5 years, but I could've dreamt that

That's fair

Genuinely asking: is Gore "front-line?"I wouldn't consider him as such, personally

Wish-casting or inside info? I like that deal, I think. Maybe.

Wasn't this also true of Murakami?

My only concern is how we backfill Kremer's spot, unless we're also signing Imai or Valdez. I'd rather try Povich/Mayo/ higher prospect. Generally, I'd go for this though

I saw a bumper sticker last night that feels incredibly appropriate right now: "You can't fix stupid, but you can numb it with a 2x4"

For your money, is that who you'd want? Personally, I know it's a bit of a wild card, but I think I'd prefer Imai. I have no rational basis for that preference.

About 66 days (assuming Feb. 11 reporting date)

Let's hope

Can he be still be traded right now?

You called it
November 2, 2025 at 4:18 AM
Ah. Sorry. I never did that, so I wouldn't even be able to tell you how to do that during the regular season. Lol

Like this?

With 10 games left, since he's walking so much and only has 83 AB, he should play every day and still maintain his rookie eligibility for 2026, right?

Or, to quote the great philosophers known as The Bloodhound Gang: "he's playing poker with a joker and some uno cards."

At 6 years, I'd probably go cease/king, then Valdez. My preference is probably Valdez at 4 years. For some reason, I just don't feel good about Gallen.

Are we laughing at the names or because this is an amazing return?
July 31, 2025 at 9:26 PM
Monday's version of this team won't have a prayer; Tuesday's version could easily do that. Would the real Baltimore Orioles please stand up?
June 18, 2025 at 12:50 PM
If the reports of them offering 4/$180m are accurate, wouldn't this be more of an indictment of them not willing to spend the years? At least AZ will have 4 years after he returns, but the Orioles only would've had 2 years left, making the 4/$180 MORE risky. Or am I thinking about this incorrectly?
