It’s more of a conflict between leftists and centrists in this case.

I think that Trump colluded with Netenyahu rather than twisting his arm, and Netenyahu accepted because he knows Trump is more favorable to his interests.

Still, it certainly LOOKS like Trump came in like a tough guy and played hardball. Which irritates me a lot.

You are unserious about politics. Please stop polluting the discourse.

My favorite is FF6, but I think the FFX is for you. FFX is fully turn based, so you don’t need any familiarity with the ATB system, and it’s killer overall. It was absolutely massive when it came out, with good reason.

If you want something more “classic”, FF5 is the archetypical pixel FF.

Pretty sure this happened in Discworld at some point. I think it was in Hogfather?

Okay, but we all already agree that it would be good if everyone did the right thing. The concern is that most people wouldn’t get on board with this — certainly not enough to make a noticeable impact.

I don’t even think it’s an “at this point” issue. People don’t do mass boycotts just because some people are calling for it — they stop buying something on moral grounds when they actually feel like it, and historically successful boycotts were always small scale and organized.

Why is “thanking” and “showing appreciation” a priority at all?

With the current trajectory, the best thing to do is stock up on canned food, get your passport, and ONLY if you are in a safe blue area, buy a gun and ammo.

Even if nothing happens, having canned food and bottled water can let you help people in natural disasters. And climate change is coming.

And? Like the person you’re replying to said, other countries do this, and they’re also aware of the consequences.
December 20, 2024 at 6:33 PM
What would that accomplish?

Trump or Musk, tbh. They’re both extremely unstable. Trump actually seems to be the more stable of the two, considering that he used to beef with Musk but bent the knee to him this year and put himself under Musk.

I don’t think that the people responsible have the balls to do that.

Weak bait. But congrats for being my first block on this app.

This is a fundamentally capitalist approach to the issue, but even more importantly, it is a disorganized approach that relies entirely on individuals acting against their own convenience for no apparent benefit to themselves.

Mobilizing people requires organization and feedback.

The billionaire class bought Twitter, they’ve owned Fox and WaPo for a long time, they’re in control of the mainstream. The best you’ll get from MSM is more agreeable billionaires.
