He will repeat this often enough that people will believe it's constitutional, and those who say otherwise will be accused of having "Trump Derangment Syndrome." APPEASEMENT DOES NOT WORK - we need to push back everytime he says this

Agreed - you'd think we would have learned our lesson. Sen. Warren tried to focus on his lack of appropriate skills. We have to get the Dems to understand that the character argument won't sway votes

I know this is a little simplistic, but I think since progressives are almost optimists by definition we just can't do pessimism effectively. Not all optimists are progressives, but all progressives are optimists. Your thoughts?

@mcuban.bsky.social I've been reflecting recently that progressives tend to lead most effectively with messages of optimism and hope, and plans to expand opportunities for people, while conservatives tend to lead most effectively with messages of fear, and "going back" to a "simpler and safer" time
