This is good, but how it came to be needed is just shameful. Spouting outright lies in politics should get you struck off. How can anyone move forward progressively on false information, let alone whole nations? Look at Trump, every other word he says is a lie, and look at the state of America now.
Under these new proposals, if a Senedd member is caught lying, they would be asked to retract the lie and a correction would be placed on their profile online. They could also face suspension and be “recalled and removed” by voters.
