You could make that case for almost any political party: too much electioneering, so much focus on getting over the next electoral hurdle that we lose sight of the trajectory of the country and its people.

I LOVED that.... I don't know anyone who has ever heard of it... I adored the descriptions (the lunchbox in particular), and found it quite scary when I was a child. There's a follow-up too, I think.
