Wow, I've learned @drdagly.bsky.social passed on Sunday, doing what he loved, intense, mountain bike trail riding.
Shocked, I know we're all mortal but Darren was one of the larger than life people that inspired at every turn, even sitting by the fire with Mr. Hobbs. You are loved & will be missed💔.

Bike Lane progress here in Edmonton, it's an interesting process that they removed that much asphalt?
Probably there is a limited choice of width on the grinders(?) use to remove the old pavement.
These lanes could be up and open in a few weeks? Idk the work schedule for the crews.

Success, the first winter ride on sidewalks and some street crossings on the bike is complete.
I had to focus, but the winter tires are just different and work like magic!
I installed the tires myself, easier than expected!
