Arguably one of the best muni stops in the system. Loving the fog in the distance.

Back when I was in elementary school, weather, trains, and BART were all documented as interests of mine when my parents sought accommodations for me. The moments when these interests overlap is pure magic.

I love the easy transfer at Richmond to cappy. I also really enjoy the ride through Emeryville, Berkeley, and 580 (particularly past congestion). It really makes it feel like the regional rail corridor that it is

Had a lot of fun over the last two days celebrating holiday meals with my regional and state capitol colleagues. The ethereal views on my trek to Sacramento this morning made for a particularly sweet treat.

Earlier today was the unveiling of a new regional wayfinding map and signage at the El Cerrito del Norte station. Great to see so many folks in the transit sector and to meet some fellow enthusiasts. All in all a transit and map nerd’s dream. 😊

Right!? The change in on board passenger information experience alone has been incredible. Clear announcements telling you what train you’re on and what stops are coming from the moment you step on is phenomenal. Not to mention their new digital displays.

Electric trolleybuses are such an integral part of SF’s transit system. Learning that they require a fraction of the lithium compared to battery electric buses just makes a stronger case for trolleybuses as a clear climate solution. Plus, benefits to maintaining and growing skilled labor. 🚎⚡️
