note.com/cultclxssic/... this is a great interview with longtime Japanese TCG player Negi/RASPBERRYBELLE. Cool to see stories about playing in 2004-2008, and also the history of grassroots retro in Japan!

RASBERRYBELLE is known as one of the best ADV-PCG players from Japan and is one of the few to have played in the original ADV-PCG format in Japan in 2006. Also just one of the most influential and imp...

Coming back from NAIC, I had thoughts about the iconic play at the end of the Tord vs Riley semifinals, and how the Scarlet & Violet block has been designed to allow this kind of play. I consolidated these thoughts in an article for my blog!

15 | RS-PK / ADVPCG | Flytaria

Need to test how consistent this list is and how well it deals with Sceptile ex δ, vs a more traditional Flygon (ex) δ build. One thing I'm sure of is that it does look very cool when it's sleeved up...

14 | RS-PK / ADVPCG | Ratlock
list: Erik Reeds
Happy World Rat Day! Raticate RG recurs 3 cards vs Minun DX's 1; this is one of the premier control decks of the format, alongside Rayler and Camler. (It struggles to finish irl games in 30 minutes; most of its success has been on tcgone.)

12 | RS-PK / ADVPCG | Feraligatr / Nidoqueen aka Drag Queen
list: unknown tcgone retro poster
Originally an '07 archetype. It's susceptible to Pow antics (though you can attempt to mitigate by delaying taking KOs), but Drag Off is a good attack. Surely we can fit a 1-0-1 Sceptile ex δ in here...?

11 | RS-PK / ADVPCG | Limitation Dragtrode
(list: ??)
Does Dragtrode things—Drag Off, Dark Ring, attacking Dragonite+Briney—plus another trick of early-game Limitation, swooping into something else later. Is this better than the regular lists? Idk. But it is very funny.

Congrats to FCBCArmor on the win!

If you prefer riffle shuffling, I recommend EndGame
If you use Katanas, id suggest swapping over to DuelSpec
And if you have a cube, please use KMC Hyper Matte

The original printing of Cyrus Prism Star is mistranslated; it's only playable when you have a W or M Pokémon in the Active Spot (the card was always played with errata).

There actually was a later print run w/correct text! I've got both copies & will use the corrected one for retro.

10 | RS-PK / ADVPCG | Dragonite ex δ
list: Jason K.
Not confident about this list. Could run Sceptile EM so Stantler confusion is a non-issue, or Xatu δ to help break through a Jirachi DX wall (alongside Cursed Stone), plus take KOs quicker. The archetype seems like it has potential!
