I feel a similar way with Bananza that I do Odyssey. Both games are pretty fun in the moment, but in retrospect, I feel they could have done more with their ideas/gamplay loops. After a certain point in both games I was on autopilot and games like that are harder for me to go back to

Fusion Fall is such a strange game, but I guess thats also why its so memorable. They really dont make 'em like they used to....

Im still not convinced its canon tbh. Maybe it leads to a similar conclusion but the game features characters not in TOTK (the construct whos definitely not Link is the obvious example). Idk after AOC I cant see them not doing thier own thing. Which is fine, I just wish they were up front about it.

It sucks cause I think that some criticism of the production side is warranted, especially for a franchise as big as Pokémon, but I hate that its become the forefront of discussion for this otherwise pretty solid game
