But it’s okay to fire at other times. What a prick.

Give him credit here. If anyone knows about distraction it’s Trump.
January 27, 2026 at 9:42 PM
Freedom of speech, but not to say that legal thing. Freedom to bear arms, but not legally like that. Etc.

Trump and his cowardly cult just aren’t very clever. They simply don’t understand really basic things.
January 27, 2026 at 5:55 PM
No moral objection then? Just how it affects his polling. Tremendous leadership.

The only way it can be naive is if she’s deliberately ignoring the reality of her husband’s behaviour. It is cynical 100%. Too much sympathy for Melania out there. She married the man, his views and all, and does nothing to condemn or modify him. She is Trump.

The lesser of two evils is often just mundane and trying hard to do their best, and in no way evil.
January 25, 2026 at 5:25 PM
Horrifically, imagine what I’d going on in detention centres behind closed doors.
January 24, 2026 at 11:45 PM
I’m afraid you’re going to have to stop voting for Trump and MAGA candidates as a country before we believe America is back to the country we used to respect.

He’s a coward. Leading a party of cowards. Desperate for the approval of a coward leading a cabinet of cowards and a congressional party of cowards.
January 23, 2026 at 9:53 PM
They don’t have any other way to make a living.
January 23, 2026 at 7:25 PM
They’re cowards. Every single one of them. And most Republicans in Congress just letting them get away with it. Cowards.
January 23, 2026 at 7:22 PM
Not enough people call Farage out for what he really is, which is a simpering, craven coward. His only interest is getting in with the lads - from Putin to Trump - he wouldn’t dare of standing up to them out for anything that doesn’t profit him. Farage is a coward.

I don’t think they’re the Gestapo. The Gestapo were professional and clinical. ICE are the SA. Untrained thugs spreading fear through indiscriminate violence.

In parliament, very little. But their best hope is to be a less toxic place for the reasonable right to return to (at the expense of the Lib Dems at elections, I’d guess)
January 18, 2026 at 8:58 PM
Fewer MPs, yes, but the Tory’s became less toxic this week.
January 18, 2026 at 8:40 PM
Makes the Tory party a better place. If they can survive this period, they’ll be a better party for getting rid of the dribbling detritus.
January 18, 2026 at 8:36 PM
Another Tory citing Thatcher who seems to have little idea who or what she stood for.

The fact Rosindell was a shadow minister shows how far the party has deteriorated. But it will be a better place for him being gone.
January 18, 2026 at 8:35 PM
The word ‘coward’ isn’t used nearly enough to describe Farage. He is a simpering, craven coward.
January 18, 2026 at 11:12 AM
Pretty sure UEFA could arrange an alternative at short notice. And potentially work with Afcon to make it ‘global’ with fixtures in Morocco, Algeria etc.
January 18, 2026 at 10:56 AM
Conform.
January 15, 2026 at 12:12 PM
The ConForm party. Or is that Farage’s next rebrand?
January 15, 2026 at 12:12 PM
Traitors grate?
November 27, 2025 at 5:45 PM
There’s a decent chance Miliband is Starmer’s successor. Chooses his words well and at good times.
September 28, 2025 at 10:38 PM
It’s a poll of asking himself in the bathroom mirror. And even then he had to repeat the question and explain it twice.
September 23, 2025 at 3:58 PM
Surely they’re a couple being introduced by Barry Cryer on I’m Sorry, I Haven’t a Clue?
